Fine quality 2" Ball/Mushroom stake for use in Pexto tapered stake holders.
This hefty steel stake is built to withstand the heavy use associated with blacksmithing, armoring, and jewelry with cold and hot steel, copper, brass, tin, etc.. The work surface is domed and ideal for forming and planishing a wide variety of metals. The tool is constructed is of tough 60/45/12 ductile iron and has a tapered shank (7/8” to 1-1/2”) to fit a Pexto type stake plate. We offer 2 bench plate holders which our other pexto tools also fit in.

Mushroom Size: Diameter is approx 2 1/2” at base and 1-1/4 at top.
Height approx is 1-3/8”

Tapered shank 7/8” to 1-1/2” The post than returns to 1” til it meets the mushroom.
Shank Taper 4” at widest point, however 3” is the amount that is seated in our Large Single Stake Holder. It has a taper inside and is less than 7/8” at the bottom, thus stopping the tool from going further.
