Dixon Style Jewelers Raising Stake Set 2 Pieces (Dome, Raising Iron)
The 2 pc stake set consists of a Dixon Style T Stake Raising Iron, 3 1/2” low-dome mushroom stake. By working on different areas of the stake, you determine the shape and dimension of the metal form.
The tool delivers an excellent curve for forming and planishing large pendants and other designs in repousse, raising, armor and other artistic applications. All tools fit in an old version of the Dixon Stake Plate or the ONE SHOWN, BUT SOLD SEPERATELY.
We offer these in a standard cast finish and some are polished as shown in the photos. All the tools shown have a tapered post to fit into the hardy hole of an anvil or our stake plate shown. .
These castings have been produced for many years and have proven to be very reliable and useful. These are used for jewelry making or metal forming, by silversmiths, blacksmiths or metalworkers.
